We are looking for a Designer to join our design office. At the heart of design and industrialization, you transform creations into concrete technical solutions, from CAD design to production. Working closely with customers and workshops, you ensure the feasibility, reliability, and profitability of the developed solutions, while contributing to the continuous improvement of products.

Designer

Design and industrialization

• Analyze specifications and design drawings and define the technical characteristics of the product.
• Translate aesthetic intention into a technically feasible and industrializable solution.
• Propose and compare technical solutions by integrating manufacturing, quality, and cost constraints.
• Design products and tooling (Cutting tools, jigs, and various devices necessary for production).
• Integrate machining, clamping, and rework constraints from the design stage.
• Participate in the choice of manufacturing processes and define manufacturing sequences.
• Define, with production managers, setup times and production rates.

Technical files and production data

• Create 3D models, drawings, and technical files.
• Provide the necessary data to the ERP/GPAO (Bills of materials, sequences, ...)
• Ensure the technical link with CNC programmers and setters and adapt CAD volumes if necessary.

Prototyping, launch, and series life

• Support the manufacturing phases of prototypes and pre-series.
• Analyze difficulties encountered and implement necessary corrections.
• Participate in the validation of tooling, processes, and sequences (Mainly with the programming, machining, and inspection workshops).
• Participate in the continuous improvement of products and processes during series life.
• Capitalize on experience feedback and ensure monitoring of product evolutions.
