Head of the Espace-Jeunes (socio-cultural animator)

Your role at the heart of the Delémont youth: With us, you will lead the Espace-Jeunes (EJ), a welcoming place for young people from Delémont and the region aged 12 to 18, which also organizes outdoor activities. Under the leadership of the CSJL department head, you will actively collaborate in the implementation of the municipal childhood-youth policy. * Do you wish to lead an animation team, ensure its cohesion and ensure the smooth functioning of the EJ, from task planning to budget management? * Do you want to design, both at the EJ and outdoors, animations, projects as well as prevention and discovery offers promoting integration and social cohesion, and to support youth initiatives to develop their autonomy and social skills? * Do you like welcoming and accompanying young people, do you know how to listen to identify their needs, spot potential signals of vulnerability and direct them towards the appropriate partners? * Do you know how to provide visibility to a place, particularly on social media, in coordination with the municipal service in charge of communication? * Do you want to contribute to the municipal childhood-youth policy and encourage youth participation, in connection with the authorities, municipal services and the network of local and cantonal partners? What you bring * HES diploma in socio-cultural animation or training deemed equivalent * Minimum of 3 years previous experience in socio-cultural animation * Additional training in team, project and/or budget management, or proven experience in this field * Ability to develop strategic visions and to lead projects autonomously, within the given deadlines * Knowledge of the Swiss and Jurassian institutional framework as well as the network of partners and institutions at the cantonal level * Rigor, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility; ease in working independently, in a multidisciplinary team and in a network * Dynamic, positive and proactive personality, able to develop constructive interactions with the local social network * Strong sense of communication, active and benevolent listening, good writing skills Starting date 1st March 2027 or to be agreed About us With us, you benefit from modern and attractive employment and working conditions, including remuneration according to classes 11 to 13 of the municipal staff scale (available on [ ](< >)).
