Our client is a Swiss company operating in the industrial sector, specializing in production and manufacturing activities. Concerned with guaranteeing the quality of its products, respect for deadlines, and optimization of its processes, it relies on a rigorous organization and close collaboration between its various departments. As part of the reinforcement of its Production department, our client is looking for a Planning and Scheduling Agent at 80-100%, in order to ensure the coordination and optimization of manufacturing flows.

Job Description

Reporting to the Development and Production Manager, the planning agent's mission is to develop, update, and manage production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, priorities, and available capacities.

They schedule and launch manufacturing orders taking into account constraints related to load and resources. They monitor production progress, adjust planning according to contingencies, emergencies, or observed discrepancies, and ensure respect for manufacturing deadlines. They coordinate priorities with the production, procurement, logistics, quality, and sales services, notably in order to confirm deadlines with customers. They identify, report, and contribute to the processing of risks likely to impact production deadlines, while ensuring regular communication with all stakeholders of the manufacturing flow. Finally, they participate in the reliability of planning data and the continuous improvement of associated processes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Planning and scheduling: develop, adjust, and monitor production plans as well as manufacturing orders according to priorities and constraints.
• Mastery of ERP and analysis tools: exploit, ensure the reliability of, and analyze order data, stocks, capacities, deadlines, and planning parameters.
• Knowledge of production processes: understand industrial flows, machine capacities, human resources, tooling, manufacturing times, and components.
• Management of supplies, stocks, and capacities: anticipate needs and risk of shortages, identify overloads or bottlenecks, and adjust schedules.
• Monitoring and cross-functional coordination: monitor production progress, manage contingencies, and collaborate with production, logistics, quality, maintenance, and sales teams in order to confirm and secure delivery deadlines.
• Continuous improvement: contribute to the optimization of planning parameters, data quality, and planning and scheduling processes.

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Organization, rigor, and sense of priorities: simultaneously manage manufacturing orders, constraints, and emergencies while guaranteeing the reliability of schedules and ERP data.

BASIC TRAINING:

• Technical, industrial, or logistics CFC, or training deemed equivalent, with experience in planning/scheduling in an industrial environment
