ASSC – Assistant in community nursing and health

Are you an Assistant in community nursing and health (ASSC) and do you want to put your skills at the service of home care?
In the context of developing our workforce, we are looking for several Assistants in community nursing and health (ASSC) for future missions at home care facilities in the Canton of Vaud.
Selected applications may be presented to the various partner associations and foundations in the canton active in the home care sector.
Mission

• Provide basic assistance and delegated medico-technical care in accordance with one's scope of competence.
• Support users in activities of daily living.
• Monitor the health status of users and transmit all relevant information to the healthcare team.
• Contribute to home care and the well-being of users.
• Collaborate with nurses, home care assistants, and other healthcare professionals, as well as with family members providing care.
• Ensure the traceability of interventions in the IT tools made available.
• Contribute to quality care, centered on the needs and autonomy of the person.

Profile

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC) as an Assistant in community nursing and health (ASSC) or an equivalent title recognized in Switzerland.
• Experience in home care is an advantage.
• Sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
• Excellent relational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while integrating into a multidisciplinary team.
• Good command of written and spoken French.
• Familiarity with IT tools for monitoring care.

Essential requirements

• Valid category B driving license
• Personal vehicle mandatory
• Clean ordinary criminal record and special extract (required as part of the selection process)
