Banking Applications Manager - Market Operations domain

Your main missions:

• Ensure operational and functional responsibility for several applications.
• Be the preferred contact for Front-Office, Back Office, Accounting users and external suppliers for all questions relating to the applications under your responsibility.
• Guarantee the availability, stability and performance of applications by ensuring daily production monitoring, incident management and coordination of corrective actions.
• Drive functional evolutions of applications: requirement gathering and analysis, drafting of specifications, coordination of developments, organization of tests and change management.
• Coordinate production deployments, application releases and relations with publishers and external data providers.
• Identify, analyze and reduce operational risks by implementing controls, monitoring mechanisms and automation solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes by simplifying manual activities and proposing high value-added optimizations.
• Ensure documentation, application governance and support during internal and external audits.

Your profile:

• University, HES or equivalent training in finance, management informatics or a similar field.
• Experience in an Application Owner, Application Manager or Application Support role within a banking institution, a trading floor or a financial solutions publisher.
• Good knowledge of financial products and Front-to-Back processes.
• Solid skills in functional analysis, writing specifications, test management and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex incidents, to coordinate multiple stakeholders and to ensure the service continuity of critical applications.
• Continuous improvement mindset, autonomy, sense of responsibility and internal client orientation.
• Excellent communication skills allowing interaction with business and technical stakeholders.
• Perfect mastery of french and a good level of professional english (B2 minimum); german is an advantage.
• Swiss resident or willingness to settle permanently in Switzerland.
