The company « Remontées Mécaniques de Crans-Montana Aminona » (CMA SA) operates the Crans-Montana ski area, whose highest point (Glacier de la Plaine Morte) is located at nearly 3'000 m altitude. In winter, the Crans-Montana ski area offers 140 kilometers of slopes with exceptional diversity for all levels. As our slope network is south-facing, our skiers benefit from privileged sunshine throughout the season in a grandiose setting. In order to complete its teams, the company Remontées Mécaniques de Crans-Montana Aminona (CMA SA), is looking for;

Head of the slopes and safety department (M/F) at 100%, permanent contract

YOUR MISSIONS :

• Ensure and coordinate the implementation of the operational and security aspects of the slopes department, namely the safety service in winter as well as the MTB slopes, karting, and other summer activities that use the ski area in summer.
• Apply the company strategy.
• Participate in and organize rescue actions on the ski lifts (on the cable or on the ground).
• Control the directives and instructions applicable to the department.
• Organize budget monitoring and take the necessary measures to ensure compliance.
• Ensure staff management with the sector heads.
• Control the proper operating condition of the department's equipment.
• Process or outsource earthworks investment and improvement projects for the department.
• Validate orders and the choice of suppliers for the department's purchases.

YOUR PROFILE :

• Benefiting from confirmed experience in the field of ski lifts.
• Federal diploma of specialist in slope and rescue service is a plus or a training deemed equivalent and recognized by the RMS.
• Acute sense of organization, very good analytical skills and liking to take successful experience in team management and demonstrate leadership on a daily basis.
• Ability to work in a team is essential. Flexible, conscientious and committed.
• Able to work in an environment with resistance to stress and difficult weather conditions.
• Good level in skiing/snowboarding and fit to perform work at height.
• Driver's license and a personal vehicle are indispensable.
