Case Polisher (M/F)

Your missions :

• Perform the incoming inspection of watchmaking components, notably bezels, cases and case backs, in order to verify their aesthetic and dimensional conformity before finishing operations
• Identify any surface defects: scratches, shocks, marks, machining defects or other non-conformities
• Perform the various preparation and surface finishing operations entirely by hand, respecting aesthetic requirements and quality standards
• Perform sandblasting operations while ensuring a homogeneous result that complies with the requested specifications
• Perform manual brushing and satin finishing of the different surfaces while respecting the direction, regularity and expected appearance
• Perform manual polishing of components by mastering the pressure, gestures and the different steps necessary in order to obtain a uniform finish
• Perform brightening operations in order to obtain the desired level of brilliance and aesthetic quality
• Work with great precision in order to respect the geometry of the parts, the edges, the angles and the surfaces, without deformation
• Adapt finishing techniques and tools according to the material, the geometry of the part and the expected aesthetic result
• Perform a rigorous visual self-inspection after each step and ensure the conformity of the parts before their transmission to the next station
• Perform the necessary retouching after inspection, by precisely analyzing the reported defects and providing the appropriate corrections
• Identify, isolate and report any non-conformity, by establishing a precise description of the observed defect
• Respect operating ranges, internal procedures, quality criteria and production requirements
• Ensure the routine maintenance of the workstation, tools and polishing equipment
• Collaborate with the production, inspection and quality teams in order to guarantee a level of finishing in accordance with the requirements of high-end watchmaking
