Crane Operator

We are looking for a crane operator holding Suva A and B permits. The position is oriented towards operating construction cranes within the framework of various construction projects, strictly respecting current safety standards. The job holder works in close coordination with site teams and site managers to ensure an efficient and secure flow of lifting operations. This function requires good mastery of crane maneuvers as well as a pronounced sense of responsibility and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the driving and maneuvers of the crane in accordance with Suva A and B permits and internal site safety instructions.
• Collaborate closely with the site manager and ground teams to ensure precise and secure positioning of the handled loads.
• Visually check the general condition of the crane before use and immediately report any observed technical malfunction or anomaly.
• Respect defined lifting procedures, including load limitations, weather conditions, and site-specific safety instructions.
• Take into account the working environment, other machinery, and people present on the construction site in order to reduce accident risks.
• Driving tower crane and Mrt Manitou.

Profile

• Completed secondary education, ideally supplemented by recognized crane operator training or equivalent.
• Habit of working on construction sites, with respect for safety instructions and procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders on the construction site and to communicate clearly.
• Reliability, punctuality, and sense of responsibility in the execution of entrusted tasks.
• Resilience to working outdoors and adaptation to changing weather conditions.
