Head of Financial Management of Public Transport (M/F) at 80-100%

Mission: You ensure the financial management of public transport within the Mobility and Transport Section of the Service du développement territorial. You collaborate with partners, in particular the Confederation, neighboring cantons, municipalities, and transport companies. You prepare tenders and calls for bids for companies, negotiate financial conditions with them, and prepare service order agreements. You contribute to the development and monitoring of financial planning and the annual budget of the canton in the field of transport. With your colleagues in the section, you participate in the development and implementation of planning instruments and legislation concerning public transport. You perform the section's tasks relating to public transport pricing and may be called upon to represent the canton in regional tariff communities and other bodies.
Profile: You possess a HE degree or a university master's level degree in economics, or training and experience deemed equivalent, and benefit from at least two years of professional experience, preferably in the field of transport. You hold a post-graduate DAS level qualification in a field useful to the activity. You possess good knowledge of financial and accounting mechanisms and demonstrate great rigor in the financial management of a public service. Very well organized, you have a good sense of analysis and priorities. You demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills and pay great attention to achieving results. You have the ability to adapt your work to the rapid developments in the legal and financial framework in which it operates. You have good written and oral knowledge of German, at least passive.
