PERRUQUES MICHEL is looking for a female or male hairdresser wishing to put their technical and human skills at the service of a clientele of women, men, and children.

Our activity combines hairdressing, the adaptation of wigs and hair prostheses, personalized advice, as well as administrative support.
We especially receive people facing illness, particularly cancer. Listening, empathy, discretion, and respect for each person are therefore essential.

Your main missions:
Reception and administration
Welcome the clientele and settle them in a suitable and confidential space.
Answer the telephone and manage appointments.
Ensure the maintenance and organization of the agenda.
Use common IT tools.
Create, update, and file medical and administrative records with rigor and discretion.

Hairdressing and wig adaptation
Perform a hair diagnosis and understand the expectations of the clientele.

Master the main cutting techniques for women, men, and children.
Identify the desired result in terms of cut, shape, volume and, when relevant, coloration.
Advise the clientele in the choice of the wig or hair prosthesis best suited to their needs, their morphology, and the desired result.
Explain the best practices for placement, maintenance, washing, and styling.
Adjust and tailor wigs: size adaptation, basic sewing, frame adjustment, and personalization cutting.
Perform or adapt extensions when necessary.

Perform styling and finishing: brushing, curls, volume, fixation, and shine.
The activities of frame adjustment, final cutting, maintenance, styling, and administrative support also correspond to the services already documented within PERRUQUES MICHEL.

Accompany the clientele in the choice of complementary products and accessories.
Present and sell, in particular, caps, turbans, scarves, hats, and maintenance products.
Provide advice adapted to the situation and needs of each person.
Your profile
Training in hairdressing, ideally with a CFC or an equivalent diploma.
Good mastery of cutting and styling techniques.
Experience in the field of wigs or hair prostheses is an asset.
In the absence of specific experience, a real interest in this field and a willingness to develop specialized skills.
Excellent interpersonal qualities: listening, empathy, patience, tact, and discretion.
Sense of service and advice.
Comfort with common IT tools and administrative tasks.
Sense of organization, precision, and reliability.
Ability to work autonomously.
Working conditions
Announced presence hours: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:30.
Announced weekly working duration: 34h30.
