Product Quality Improvement Officer (M/F)

Mission

The main mission of the Product Quality Improvement Officer is to steer and analyze problems experienced by customers at a global and cross-functional level within the company, and to perform audits of processes, products, and systems internally or externally. Within a broad scope, they identify, propose, and implement prevention and improvement actions at the level of products and quality processes throughout the entire life cycle (from design to customer service). They steer cross-functional quality projects (product quality, quality improvement, complaints, -).

In connection with the company's strategic objectives and the requirements of the Patek Philippe punch mark, they define and deploy Quality standards for the company throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify, consolidate, and prioritize quality issues by capitalizing on the basis of customer complaints, internal problems, and service centers.
• Steer cross-functional projects and lead teams in order to meet Quality objectives on a company-wide scale.
• Identify issues experienced by customers and steer the Product Quality indicators in place with the team for reporting to management.
• Define and implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure the follow-up of action plans throughout the entire life cycle.
• Prepare Quality reviews and Quality events in partnership with the Managers of the entities concerned by Product Quality.
• Conduct audits of processes, products, systems, and suppliers (and/or service centers) in connection with the projects they lead.
• Build, propose, and argue for indicators in order to optimize Product Quality.
• Lead cross-functional meetings bringing together internal and external actors around product quality.

Profile sought

• HES Engineer or ES technician with a Quality orientation.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position within a Quality Department, ideally in the watchmaking industry.
• Good knowledge of watch products.
• Mastery of Quality tools (DMAIC, 8D, QRQC, Pareto and cause-effect diagrams, PDCA, 5 Whys, ...) and problem-solving.
• Good knowledge of cross-functional project management with different professions.
• Mastery of statistical tools and office tools (MS-Office and notably Excel).
• Good command of English.
• Listening skills, cross-functional communication skills, and meeting management.
• Synthesis and analysis skills, proactive, pragmatic, results-oriented.
