Director of the Centre d'enseignement professionnel de Morges (CEPM)

Job description ##

In your capacity as Director, you lead and steer all activities of the Centre d'enseignement professionnel de Morges (CEPM), an institution comprising nearly 2'900 apprentices and students in training, more than 170 teachers and lecturers, an administrative team, and a technical service. You propose objectives linked to the department's strategy and translate them into action plans for the entire institution. You unite your teams around the quality of teaching and the success of students and apprentices, while ensuring the professional fulfillment of each collaborator. Representing the institution, you commit to building lasting partnerships with professional associations as well as economic and academic sectors.

Responsibilities ##

• Plan, lead, and coordinate all activities and services of the institution, guaranteeing a fluid and structured internal organization as well as an optimal use of available resources.
• Ensure the quality of teaching, notably through class visits, supervise its distribution, and oversee the follow-up of students and apprentices as well as compliance with current programs and legislation.
• Ensure the adaptation of the institution's services to the evolution of training plans and the maintenance of an institutional culture.
• Recruit, support, and unite the pedagogical, administrative, and technical teams; encourage the development of their skills.
• Ensure the dissemination of information within the institution to guarantee clear communication and permanent dialogue.
• Develop and monitor the budget, define priorities, and guarantee reliable accounting management.
• Ensure the rational use and maintenance of premises and equipment and propose necessary acquisitions based on needs and technical evolutions.
• Promote the image of the institution and develop its integration into its economic, social, and academic environment, notably by participating in various conferences, commissions, and working groups.

Qualifications ##

• University Master's degree or a title deemed equivalent in a field taught at the post-obligatory level, supplemented by a pedagogical title for teaching at the secondary II level.
• Confirmed managerial experience of several years, acquired in the field of teaching.
• Proven managerial skills, excellent communication and ease in conflict management, analytical and synthesis capacity, openness to change and innovative projects, ability to develop an institutional culture.
• The CAS in administration and management of training institutions (FORDIF) is desired and will be required in the event it has not been completed before taking office.

A department is dedicated to green professions. It provides dual training for initial training (AFP, PAI, CFC) and the integrated professional maturity.
