Draftsman (M/F)

Mission

As part of this function, reporting to our Research and Development Division, you will be responsible for ensuring the link between the design and manufacturing of products by producing definition plans and technical drawings using CAD and CAE tools, based on projects provided by the manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Produce assembly plans based on validated specifications, followed by detail plans using SolidWorks CAD software.
• Write bills of materials and technical data sheets for the explanation and traceability of our technical data.
• Update existing drawings in compliance with internal procedures.
• Provide support to manufacturers and be proactive within the framework of our continuous improvement.
• May be required to produce mechanism models in plexiglass or 3D printing.

Profile sought

• CFC as a Draftsman-constructor in microtechnology (or equivalent).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar function including participation in business projects.
• Mastery of technical drawing (Solidworks).
• Mastery of GD&T (GPS) dimensioning.
• Mastery of office tools (MS Office).
• Good watchmaking knowledge (base calibers and complications).
• Knowledge of material machining processes and industrial technologies.
• Knowledge of Swiss International Watchmaking Standards (NIHS), an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy and customer focus.
• Rigor and precision.
• Analytical and synthetic skills, agility to integrate new requests
• Proactive.
