For one of our clients based in Genève, we are looking for a Senior General Accountant/Certified Accountant.

For one of our clients based in Genève, we are looking for a Senior General Accountant / Certified Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Department, you will take charge of the entire accounting cycle in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Your main missions:

• Maintenance of general accounting and subsidiary ledgers.
• Monthly and annual closings, preparation of financial statements.
• Management of treasury, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of VAT returns and monitoring of Swiss tax obligations.
• Preparation of audit files and collaboration with the fiduciary.
• Participation in financial reporting, budget monitoring and improvement of accounting processes.

We are looking for a person with:

• Federal Diploma of specialist in finance and accounting strongly appreciated.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting in Switzerland.
• Excellent mastery of closings, VAT and Swiss accounting.
• Fluent French, English or Italian being an asset.
• Autonomous, rigorous and organized person.
