Context
--------

The Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and is among the best hospital establishments in the world according to the 2025 Newsweek ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the Université de Lausanne and the EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, research, and training.

Within the Département de la logistique hospitalière (DLOH), the Service approvisionnement, distribution et stockage pilots the flow of goods for the hospital. It guarantees the delivery of goods and mail management, coordinates delivery docks, manages the vehicle fleet and its maintenance, and ensures stock management to guarantee the availability of products within the different sectors of the institution. Thanks to its expertise in procurement, hospital logistics, and innovative technologies, the service contributes every day to the smooth running of the CHUV and meets the needs of internal clients.

Mission
-------

• You receive, control, and store goods according to current procedures, guaranteeing their quality, quantity, and traceability.
• You prepare orders, ensure the loading, unloading, and distribution of goods in the different sectors of the CHUV.
• You manage stock flows (replenishments, inventories, rotations) using the institution's IT tools.
• You use handling equipment and, depending on your sector of activity, the vehicles and electronic devices necessary for your missions, in compliance with safety rules.
• You perform the controls and administrative formalities related to deliveries, orders, and stock monitoring.
• You maintain the equipment made available to you and ensure its proper functioning.
• You contribute to ensuring a reliable supply and quality service to the Care Units and internal clients.

Profile
------

• You have completed your compulsory schooling with good grades in mathematics and an interest in numbers
• You demonstrate a sense of organization, autonomy, and flexibility
• You are reliable, punctual, and attentive to the safety of people and property
• You are comfortable with embedded digital tools and communication with internal clients.
• You have good physical and mental resistance (carrying reasonable loads, pace, priorities)
• You like working in a team and communicate clearly; you are comfortable with IT tools.
