Job description ##

In order to complete our team, we are looking for a Product Manager, based in Le Locle. Your responsibilities will be as follows:

New product development

• Elaborate technical and aesthetic briefs for new products.
• Build visuals in collaboration with designers and the Creative Direction.
• Ensure follow-up with suppliers throughout the development process.
• Establish product calculations (costs, feasibility) as well as environmental assessments.
• Follow the planning of prototypes and pre-series.
• Supervise the manufacturing of prototypes and guarantee their compliance.
• Coordinate technical product documentation with the Technical Design department.
• Write the descriptive documents necessary for the launch phase.
• Perform technological monitoring and establish competitive benchmarks.
• Manage improvements and ensure the maintenance of existing collections.

Product launch coordination

• Follow launch projects and participate, in collaboration with the Purchasing department, in supplier price negotiations.
• Define or adapt product quality criteria.
• Release components and finished products during the pre-series phase.
• Collaborate with the Communication and Marketing teams to support the launch.
• Analyze commercial performance, notably sell-through.
• Coordinate the resolution of quality issues during market release.
• Provide the necessary information support to the After-Sales Service.

Professional requirements ##

• Several years of proven experience in project management, ideally in the watchmaking industry.
• A CFC in a technical field and/or a HES Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design is an additional asset.
• Marked interest in watch products.
• Mastery of standard IT tools and ideally Rhinoceros 3D

Languages ##

• French: fluent
• German and English: good oral and written knowledge
