Systems Technical Architect

Today we are looking for an on-premises Systems Technical Architect to join our client's team in Lausanne.

This is a position with a duration of at least 8 months (potentially renewable), with a start as soon as possible.

Context:

As part of the modernization and standardization of its platforms, our client is strengthening its infrastructure pole by integrating an on-premises Systems Technical Architect for a renewable 8-month mission.

Your role:

• Work in close collaboration with the lead infrastructure architect on matters of evolution, technical consistency, and platform standardization.
• Design and evolve on-premises systems architectures (Microsoft environments, Linux, VMware virtualization, SAN/NAS storage, backup and DR/BCP).
• Define business and technical needs, carry out impact studies, define target architectures, and formalize standards and best practices.
• Drive and guide technological choices while ensuring alignment with security, resilience requirements, and operational constraints.
• Coordinate exchanges with cross-functional teams (Systems, Networks, IAM, Security, Project Managers) and ensure the skill development of operational teams.

Profile sought:

• Proven experience in the design, rationalization, and evolution of complex enterprise infrastructures.
• Solid mastery of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, hybrid Azure, PowerShell) and VMware virtualization.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments, SAN/NAS storage solutions, backup, and high availability / disaster recovery principles.
• Good notions of enterprise network architectures (LAN, WAN, DNS/DHCP, Load Balancing, segmentation) and IS security requirements.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills to document standards and collaborate effectively with technical and business interlocutors.
