Le Restaurant Pompeii, a restaurant-pizzeria located in Vernayaz, is looking for a pizzaiolo / pizzaiola at 100% to strengthen its team.

Your tasks:

• Prepare and make pizzas according to the house recipes and standards
• Prepare doughs, sauces, and various ingredients
• Ensure the preparation and cooking of pizzas in a wood-fired oven
• Guarantee consistent quality of products and cooking
• Carry out the mise en place before services
• Organize and maintain your workstation clean and functional
• Control the quality and freshness of products
• Respect hygiene and food safety rules
• Effectively manage orders during periods of high activity
• Participate in the tidying and cleaning of the kitchen and equipment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and the floor staff
• Contribute to the general smooth running of the restaurant

Your profile:

• Confirmed experience as a pizzaiolo / pizzaiola
• Good mastery of the preparation and cooking of pizzas
• Experience working with a wood oven, an important asset
• Good knowledge of products and preparation techniques
• Sense of organization and speed of execution
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Autonomous, responsible and careful
• Team spirit
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Particular sensitivity to the quality and presentation of products
• Good mastery of French
• Mastery of Italian is an asset
