With nearly 1,200 employees, the Département de médecine aiguë (D-MA) includes the Services of clinical anesthesiology, pharmacology and toxicology, intensive care and emergencies. It meets a quadruple mission through its services which provide their expertise in frequent interaction with all the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève, thanks to a transversal platform, with the objective of ensuring the best possible care for patients.

Assistant Administrative and Financial Manager - 100%

You assist the Administrative and Financial Manager (RAF) of the D-MA in the exercise of her functions and actively collaborate in the efficient management of the department and the services by providing your financial and administrative expertise.

Upon delegation, you replace the RAF in case of absence and exercise her competencies and signatures.

You autonomously pilot and direct one or more financial and administrative processes falling within the scope of competence of the RAF and, notably, departmental management control (reporting, budget, etc.).

You participate in commissions or institutional project groups. You utilize activity, management and efficiency indicators and establish forecasts while proposing optimization measures.

You propose improvements to the organization and processes, ensure the design and drafting of the medico-economic part of conventions, collaboration agreements and contracts concerning the department.

Finally, you handle occasional mandates and projects with full autonomy and you represent the department, the professional sector and the RAF.

Qualifications

You hold a university or HES degree at master's level in economics or business management, completed by training in management control, a federal diploma of specialist in finance and controlling or in health institution management or a degree deemed equivalent.

You benefit from 5 years of professional experience in financial management, management control or medico-economic analysis. Previous experience within a health institution is an asset.

You have knowledge of the organization of the Swiss healthcare system and its financing. You master project management, the budgetary process as well as management control.

Comfortable with figures, reporting, dashboards as well as accounting, you have analytical and synthesis skills, a transversal vision and an attraction to teamwork as well as multidisciplinary collaboration.

You are an open person endowed with a great capacity for listening, ease of communication and proven interpersonal skills. You also demonstrate versatility, autonomy, flexibility, involvement and dynamism. Furthermore, you possess a developed sense of responsibility and respect the confidentiality of the activities entrusted to you.

You have perfect mastery of IT tools (Excel, ERP, business intelligence), French (oral and written) and have good knowledge of English.
