Job Description:

As Chef de rang within our prestigious 5-star hotel, you are responsible for your station and ensure attentive, fluid and personalized service, in compliance with LeCrans quality standards and LQA requirements. The position is primarily oriented towards bistronomic service with evening services.

This position is ideally available for a start on 1st December on a CDI basis.

Your missions under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager:

• Ensure the complete mise en place of the restaurant
• Prepare and control your station before each service
• Ensure the cleanliness, order and perfect presentation of the dining room and the spaces necessary for service
• Anticipate needs and guarantee the availability of the equipment and products necessary for the smooth running of the service.
• Welcome, seat and accompany clients throughout their experience, by presenting the concept of the establishment.
• Master the menus, products, drinks, suggestions and characteristics of the dishes in order to advise clients pertinently.
• Take orders and ensure the service of food and drinks
• Ensure the follow-up of your station, anticipate client expectations and ensure the fluidity of service.
• Contribute to the development of additional sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the clearing, resetting and tidying of tables and service areas.
• Participate in room service: preparation, control, delivery and clearing of orders, in compliance with quality and discretion standards.
• Participate in the mise en place of various events
• Ensure fluid communication with the kitchen, the bar and the various hotel services in order to guarantee
• Accompany the Commis de Rang in their daily tasks and contribute to the transmission of service standards.
• Guarantee a service in accordance with the internal standards of the establishment and LQA standards
• Respect hygiene and safety rules and current procedures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the customer experience and service practices

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• Experience in a high-end establishment
• Excellent knowledge of gastronomy and the art of the table
• Good knowledge of wines and food and wine pairings
• Excellent sense of service and hospitality
• Team spirit, versatility and ability to adapt
• Very good level of French and English mandatory, another language is an asset
• Vehicle mandatory
