From August 2027, the current transitory measures (SEMO/PreFo) of the Canton of Freiburg will be implemented by ProgresS, a new non-profit association commissioned by the Amt für den Arbeitsmarkt (AMA).

A new chapter is emerging. Are you the person who will write it with us?

To accompany this important stage, we are looking for a leadership personality who will bring momentum to a new organization (with 45 full-time equivalents and around 60 employees), bring teams together, and translate a vision into concrete measures. A key role in a time characterized by change, where leadership, team spirit, strategy, and decision-making ability make the difference.

Your Mission
You will take over the overall management of ProgresS and steer the establishment of the new organization in a demanding transformation context. You will bring teams and stakeholders together around a common vision, coordinated working methods, and shared goals. You will ensure the introduction and quality of services while also being responsible for the strategic further development, institutional representation, as well as the financial and administrative management of the association.

You are particularly responsible for:
_ the operational, strategic, and organizational leadership of the association.
_ leading the transformation and accompanying the change process.
_ the integration of the teams and the development of a common organizational culture.
_ the leadership and support of the sector managers.
_ the definition and harmonization of roles, processes, and working methods.
_ the relationships with the AMA, the board, and the institutional partners.
_ financial, administrative, and HR management in cooperation with the responsible departments.
_ analysis of results, needs, and the further development of services.
_ the development of partnerships and opportunities to consolidate the offering.

Your Profile
_ Higher education or proven professional experience in the fields of leadership, organizational management, integration, social work, human resources, finance, or project management.

Experience and Competencies
_ Extensive experience in a leadership position, in leading teams, or in steering complex mandates.
_ Proven experience in accompanying change processes, organizational development, or in the integration of teams.
_ Sound competencies in institutional, operational, and financial steering.
_ Convincing leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and bring teams together in a complex environment.
_ Ability to weigh options, make decisions, and also bear difficult decisions.
_ Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and negotiation skills.
_ Ability to handle resistance, tensions, and conflict situations confidently.
_ Good knowledge of the integration network, the institutional partners, and the context of the Canton of Freiburg.
_ Very good analysis, synthesis, and editorial skills.
_ Very good knowledge of French and German. A bilingual profile would be ideal.
_ Discretion, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility.
