IT operator within an Operations Center, you ensure the monitoring and continuity of IT systems in a critical environment. You intervene in the detection and management of incidents

Context

On behalf of one of our clients, a major player in the insurance sector based in Lausanne, DAREST is looking for an IT Operator at the Operations Center. You will join a human-sized team and intervene at the heart of the information system to ensure the supervision, continuity and quality of IT services.

Job objectives: Within the Operations Center, you will be in charge of:

Supervision & monitoring

Monitor infrastructures (servers, networks, applications)Control the proper functioning of backups

Incident management

Detect, qualify and follow up on incidents, prioritize according to their impact and coordinate actions. Escalate to the correct teams and ensure follow-up

Service restoration

Apply procedures to restore systems, Actively participate in service continuity

Configuration management

Update the CMDB and maintain data related to IT environments

Technical interventions

Support in data centers

On-site intervention (equipment, printers, meeting rooms)

Documentation

Write and maintain operational procedures

Main responsibilities:

Good knowledge of information systems and IT infrastructures

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a team and in a critical environment

Compliance with procedures

Priority management

Regular reporting

Training

Training in IT (operator or equivalent)
