Metrology and Qualification Engineer

For one of our clients in medical devices, we are looking for an experienced Metrology / Qualification Expert to work in a regulated environment.

Missions

• Lead and perform metrology, calibration, and verification activities for laboratory and production equipment.
• Define and optimize metrology strategies: periodicity, equipment criticality, tolerances, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the monitoring of the measuring instrument fleet: balances, temperature probes, pressure, conductivity, pH meters, and other laboratory/process equipment.
• Perform or supervise IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications and periodic requalifications.
• Participate in the integration of new equipment: URS, risk analysis, FAT/SAT, qualification, and commissioning.
• Manage deviations, non-conformities, CAPA, and Change Control related to metrology activities.
• Act as the technical interface with suppliers, Quality, the laboratory, production, and maintenance.
• Write and update protocols, reports, procedures, and associated documentation.

Profile sought

• Significant experience in industrial or laboratory metrology, GMP environment mandatory.
• Solid skills in calibration, calibration, qualification, and management of a metrology fleet.
• Good mastery of GMP/BPF requirements and quality documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously and to play a role as a Metrology technical referent.
